LG M227WD-PZ on PC w/HDMI?

Hi!

I would like to buy the above monitor today and was curious to hear people's experience with it connected to a PC via HDMI.

I've noticed in other topics that LG has issues with connecting a PC via HDMI, but if I select "Just Scan" and turn off "Noise Reduction", would it not work fine for text also?

Probably obsolete, but I've had trouble connecting my computer via HDMI. Image quality is poor via HDMI, which is disappointing as I bought it to play movies from my laptop. Text in particular. I'd certainly welcome advice from anyone on how to fix this.
