LG LE3300 Audio Help

I have purchased a LG LE3300 i have connected a DVD home cinema system to the TV via HDMI (that is the only cable connecting the 2) the sound is fine whilst viewing a DVD however whilst watching normal channels I get no sound from the speakers just from the TV itself! Any help would be very much appreciated!

You need to take the audio out from the TV (probably optical out) and feed it to an optical input on your home cinema unit...if you have no optical input use the audio out phonos from the TV (if it has them, if not use the headphone socket) and feed it to an input on the amp.
