I've just got an LG LCD almost straight away it's developed a thin blue line running vertically down the left side of the screen
Is this a fault with the screen or could it be interference? I've checked all the cabling

That blue line is not a TV fault, but a "feature" of the new sky HD EPG. Confirm that by viewing a different video source or terestrial tv.

I had exactly the same problem with my LG 42LH3000 after 6 weeks. Contacted the retailer I bought it from & they sent a "technician" out who told me the panel was faulty and would need replacing. After about 3 weeks of waiting the retailer told me LG would write off the tv instead and I got a replacement tv (which was also faulty!!!).

Sounds like you should have no problems getting a refund or replacement as its new.
