LG LCD Projection picture problem

    Occasionally when I turn on my tv, the picture looks funny... like there's 2 different pictures that are separated horizontally.

    When the tv is on a blank station, there's a some red blue and green dots that create a pattern on the tv...

    When I turn the tv off then back on, the picture is fine again. It doesn't happen a lot, maybe once a month or so.

    My warranty is up in a few weeks, so I just want to make sure it isn't a huge problem I should have looked at...

    bump. is there another more "tech support" oriented forum i could post this to that anyone could recommend?

    Any reason why? My tv is a DLP lcd projection tv. The other forum is "direct view LCD"

    Ah sorry... my mistake. Didn't realise it was a rear projection TV. :suicide:
