I am looking at this LG monitor for a while. It is 20", 5ms response time, 2000:1 contrast ratio (I seriously doubt it), and 1680 x 1050 resolution. All this and it is only $320 right now at CC. It all sounds too good to be true. Has anyone had experience with this monitor? I will only be using this monitor with my Xbox 360 via VGA cable.

Max output resolution of the Xbox 360 is 1360by768... therefore if you connect it to this screen it will have to upscale the signal to fill all the available pixels...

this will mean that the native 720p output from the 360's graphics card will potentially have been scaled twice... once by the 360 itself from 1280by720 to 1360by768 and then by the screen from 1369by768 to 1680by1050... or only once assuming the screen can take a 1280by720 direct signal...

This scaling could soften the image of the 360.
