We take a look at the LG G2 OLED Evo and Philips OLED+986 in this week's podcast. Both are the flagship designer models with the latest OLED panels and video processing on board, but are they a big enough step forward for the WRGB technology? Plus, we have our continuing calibration conversations, Ed's Hi-Fi chat and the best Album, Playlist and Vinyl of the week.

Presented by Phil Hinton, with Ed Selley, Julian Scott and Ian Collen

Someone asked on the Podcast advice between LG G2 and Sony AJ08 - I think.

To be direct in my opinion is get the LG G2 in November when price will lower.

I don’t know which has the better picture and motion quality, but i guess it would be close especially if both are Calibrated.

The main reason I would recommend LG is because Web OS is miles ahead and better experience for Streaming if that is applicable.

Nice to hear that you got a yellow wet leg Ed. 😜
Great choice for album of the podcast.

It would be better if u had it for tv only as more people are interested in that, than lump everything in one podcast.

Thanks for a good listen and enjoyed the conversation about grading monitors even though they don't have the Netflix app. Think the G2 will be the benchmark for this year's comparative work especially with it being available this early.
