    Hi

I have Sky Plus and a LG DR4810 DVR. Whne i try to record the programs to dvd -rw disks they play on the machine used to record them but not on other dvd players. One of our other dvd players says on the from that it plays -rw but it just says no disc. I have tried finalising the disdc but that makes no difference.

Any help would be greatfully received. :lease:

Are you recording in 'VR' mode or 'VIDEO' mode? I think that by default it records in VR mode which means it's not designed to play on another player, it's mainly for better editing and disc space managment.
If you go into the menu you can change the setting to video mode.

PS have you read my confusing cabling post from earlier today, it might be of interest to you.
I have found that when set to video mode it's quicker to start up and spends less time reading the disc.

    Thanks.

How do you change to video mode though?
