    Just watching it now. Interviewing people on the streets, and they still don't know what HD-DVD, and Blue Ray are. BBC news says it's best to wait for the prices of each to drop.

    I saw that too. I wasn't aware of the LG combi, but in my opinion it isn't the way forward. I think we will eventually decide as a country (or world) what format to use, and the other will because relatively obsolete. Just imaging having two different types of each movie, with each not really offering an advantage over the other?

    That won't really happen - some studios will support one format, whilst others will support the competition. Those studios that do go 'dual' may adopt Warners 'dual disc' solution if it turns out to be successful.
