Hi all, I’ve had an LG C9 for a couple of years. I usually keep energy saving mode set to “off”. If I ever leave the tv for a break etc. I turn the screen off. Since I’ve had it, when I push a button to turn the screen back on, it has reverted to energy saving “off”. In the last month or so (ish) the function has changed and now, whenever I turn the screen back on, it defaults to energy saving “auto”.
Does anyone know whether this is a result of a firmware update or something and whether or not it is possible to switch it back to how it was?
It’s not a deal breaker, but it adds unnecessary button presses. It’s a minor inconvenience.
