    Hi there fellas,

I would like your opinion and guidance on what I should do as a step by step guide in order to get the best experience out of my TV. Please do share your story as well.. What was the first thing you did (in terms of settings) once you powered on your LG OLED on for the first time?

Turn all picture processing off, sit back and be amazed.

Stop searching the Internet for keywords like Burn in, Yellow Tint, LG customer service reviews, OLED returns etc. lol.

Thanks - can you be more specific? Are there any circumstances where some of the settings should be turned on?

check the corners for water damage / glue bonding that hasn't set properly seen a few of these now. One recently popped up in c7 thread seen another on e7 forum weeks back after the owner had set calibrated realised it was already there I've owned a few with this issue myself and seen a few on avsforums

Not common but they are out there

What’s the best way to check this? Would it show up during normal viewing?

page 222 heres the post :-

LG C7 OLED Owners and discussion thread

these are my own ive seen :-

LG OLED E7 TV Owners and Discussion Thread

this as the e7 discussed above :-

LG OLED E7 TV Owners and Discussion Thread

as i say its not a common issue but worth checking for when you first turn on set so you dont find later and get stuck with a lemon :)

You can see if you have them when first power the set on your presented with a blue weclome screen , just check corners closely if no marks good to proceed.

Thanks for the advise. I'll inspect the corners during the TVs welcome screen.
