Question Lg c7 oled issues

I've noticed thin grey lines on top or sides of my screen when watching regular blu Rays, have not noticed this on uhd blu Rays. Tv is set to 16:9 and so is Samsung uhd player. So I'm honestly not sure if it's a tv issue or Samsung uhd player. Any help would be appreciated. This post may not be in right area.

Think it should be set to Original and just scan turned on

I have the b7 but I've only had it a few weeks.
The other night I was watching fantastic beasts and in the second half of the film there were several scenes where I noticed the screen was kind of strobing a little (these were darker scenes) where the picture was getting lighter then darker. It was subtle but quite noticeable. I gather It could have been variable lit scenes but It was unclear if it's supposed to be like that or not but it was a bit offputting. Is this a oled issue in general or could my set be faulty.

Also a few times I've had my PS4 cut out picture wise and the pic started flicked from black to a grey/white static screen on and off until I change source out and then back again,It also did it a few times when I turned off my uhd player (up970). Again is this anything anyone else has seen?

Hello everyone.
I am new to this thread and I am looking for any advice. I bought an LG OLED C7 65 inch around 29 days ago. I have used the TV for about 120 hours through out those 29 days. While watching tv yesterday, my tv decided to turn off on its own. Now It won't turn on for more than a split second and when it does, there is a few White lines running vertically to the far left and then it immediately switches off. I have attached a picture of the issue. Does anyone knows what does that mean. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

Looks like it's dead or dying. Not sure how it works in the States, but in the UK we'd contact the retailer to get it replaced.

i'm having the exact same issue when playing on the PS4. Were you able to figure out the issue and were you able to resolve it?

thanks

I have had no further updates or responses for this post, it still does the flashing freak out, often when turning off the player but I've not been using it much. The strobing I don't recall happening again yet. I game heavily with my PS4 on it and bar some presumed dodgy handshaking issues every so often, I've had no other issues to speak of.

thanks for the reply! i game on the PS4 pretty often too and the issue with the screen cutting out and going to the static screen has happened twice. it only happens when gaming on the PS4 and not my other consoles. it makes me feel better that you haven't had any other issues.
