LG C6 Atmos

Very simply, I have the excellent 55" C6 (curved and with 3D). 90%+ of my viewing is through the TV apps Netflix and Amazon Prime.

The TV is connected to the amp (Denon x3600) via ARC HDMI (Not eARC).

Can the TV output Atmos from the apps to the amp?

Don't want to drop £££'s on new speakers if I can't get Atmos from the TV....

Nope not true atmos..you would need to get a Nvidia Sheild or something similar to get atmos but then you might not got DV as you want

I almost have the same issue as you but with an E6. I found the best solution was an Apple TV 4K. It has everything that I’m aware of that’s in 4K, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. For example, apps supported like Apple TV+, Disney Plus and Netflix. There might well be other ways to do it like a Fire Stick but when I looked into it certain apps didn’t support Atmos yet. That might well have changed now.
