I'm looking to get a new TV mainly for gaming and light movie watching.

The LG C1 is $200 extra over the B1. Is the extra price worth it?

I read that the main difference is the processor but I won't be using the built-in apps since I have an Nvidia Shield for that.

Yes.

The B1 has only two HDMI 2.1 ports unlike 4 on C1, its also not as bright and its A7G4 chipset video post processing isn't quite as good as the A9G4 chip in C1.

Only go with the B1 if that's all you can afford.

I only need 1 HDMI 2.1 port and I don't need video post-processing considering I want the TV for gaming only though.

in which case you definitely want the C1 then, if it's for gaming.

Maybe the cx would be better if you can find one on offer.
