The LG screens (10, 14 & 17) all seems to be coming out well when compared to the Samsung.

The best price I have seen to date is QED who are offering it for £2633.37 including VAT, Tuner, Stand and Speakers.

This compares well to the Comet price, but has anyone seen it cheaper ?

I've seen it cheaper ... it was only £2576 on qed-uk.com's site yesterday!

The 17 has much better specs than the 10/13/14 models, so if you don't need a tuner, speakers or the desktop stand, RS's price of £2500 for the 17 screen is hard to beat.

I must agree with the last post. I am swaping a faulty Samsung screen for the LG 17. I have viewed this carefully and having also had a good look at the LG 14 when I got the Samsung I can say it produces a far better picture that the 14 model.

If you look back through posts on this topic you will find that you can get the LG 17 with a stand and Component to RGB scart adapter for about £2700.

For the extra £200 there is only one choice in my opinion - the newer model.

In any event I really would demo before you buy.
