I’ve got the LG C8 now for a week and overall, I’m pretty happy. But there is one issue which I can’t seem to solve and I’m wondering if more people experience this problem.
When I watch something on Netflix or Xplay during the daytime, none of them plays smoothly. It’s like the framerate is 16 fps or something instead of 24, like 1/3 of the frames are dropped.
I first thought, maybe the TV is not powerful enough to play 4k smoothly but then when I watched the same movie at night when my room was dark it played 100% smooth. I’ve tested this with many video’s and many times over and I get the same result every time. I’ve also tested this with another person to make sure it’s not me that’s crazy.
I have the screen ‘Eco mode’ set to auto and all enhancers off, maybe it has something to do with the brightness of the screen that is automatically adjusted, but when I turn eco mode off, it doesn’t seem to matter and I get the same results.
Anyone else experiencing this or got any tips to find out what is causing this?
