LG 55LX9900, Sony KDL-55HX923, or Samsung UE55D8000

All these TV's have huge threads, which I've spent a lot of time reading to the point of confusion. The LG's the cheapest, is this bcos it's no longer current? Has the Sony overcome banding and creasing issues, and is the Samsung considered a better TV?

All advice will be much appreciated.

Problems with reviews is that they tend to be spot checks and though useful, don't often tell you what it's like to live with the TV over a protracted period. Thanks for the advice nonetheless.

The decision was eventually very straightforward after I demo'd the Samsung and Sony armed with various test media files. Both exceeded my expectations, so it was down to pure asthetics, and to my eyes and more importantly the missus's, the Sony is better looking so we're going for that.
