Let me have a think about your offer i ideally wanted asking and collected so you could see condition, it fully working and uniformity etc as uniformity varies from set to set and is all individually subjective.

Having thought about your offer i would do it for £1100 Delivered its £117 to ship it and thats with a 5 day pick up from me anything else goes up to near £200. Its not ideal as i wanted you to see condition etc and i dont really wanna risk delivery. Anyvan only cover for fire or theft so i dunno what happens about breakage, im gonna message them and ask (i expect no breakage but its still a risk)

    My conditions are.

Delivery is at your risk i have original packaging it will be packaged to my best ability and it will leave my house working and in perfect condition. Its not ideal buying blind but thats what you will be doing so it will be sold as unseen and i wont accept a return.

I can however promise you it will leave my house fully working and in excellent condition it has no screen burn no image retention no tint. The uniformity is very good with minimum banding but with all Oleds this is inherent with the technology.
I can send any pictures you like.

Hi thanks for getting back to me i understand it's a massive risk and i'm thinking should i just hire a small van and maybe drive up, but its a 5 hour drive from where I live. did you find out if the insurance covered breakage?

Anyvan Reviews - Moving Reviews, Ratings and Complaints

Review by Theo Gaius Aug 8th 2018

Apparently the van men have mal-handled my items and damaged my TV . I contacted AnyVan and I was told that their basic insurance don’t cover damages and that they cannot do anything about it ..

Basically anyvan insurance is for FIRE, LIGHTNING, AIRCRAFT; EXPLOSION AND THEFT caused during transit and does not cover for damages.

A few people are gonna have issue thats part and parcel of everything. I know of people who have used anyvan with no issues and that includes myself.

    No problem

This is the problem with anyvan, it’s hit and miss.

You or anyone else need to search for a man and a van service near the destination or collection address. For example, I’m based in Northampton, in a couple of weeks I’m travelling back to Northampton from Cardiff with an empty van, last week it was London, week before Worcestershire.

On my website I have my home address, copy of goods insurance, images of my van, carpeted in the rear, people can call me and chat directly on the phone, customers can do their homework, check my google and yell reviews.

Anyvan are a reverse broker, people reverse bid, yes you can check out a review system but you’re really dealing through a third party rather than direct. I’ve had customers ask if I’m a Smoker, I’m not. I’ve had people ask for photos of the front of the van inside and the rear.

If you’re dealing with a grands worth of TV surely you want more assurances than Anyvan can offer?

Anyway, sorry for the long post, guy interested in buying, don’t pull out, search for “man with a van....” and “man and van....” at both collection and delivery address you might be surprised...
