I have just seen the LG 50LF652V for under £450 here
I am currently looking to replace my bedroom TV as my old model has finally given up. I am looking for a wall mountable, 46-50" 1080p TV that is good for gaming too as I have my last gen (PS3 and XB360) consoles connected here. I don't have an aerial connected so unless there is a decent internal aerial suitable to buy, freeview is not important but Smart function would be useful if the TV has wifi and some decent 'free' apps like iPlayer but not essential as my consoles have these. I will be mainly using it for gaming as well as the occasional DVD and BluRay via my consoles.
For the money, the LG seems to tick all the right boxes and it seems I would get a lot for £450 - more than I could from Samsung or Sony for example. However I have struggled to find any review from what I consider knowledgeable sources - those that would do more than just plug it in and watch TV on it. Is it worth buying or should I consider something else?
