I have just purchased the LG 43UN71006LB and am trying to figure out what panel it has. I bought it specifically because I want a wide viewing angle owing to its positioning. I have enclosed a close-up photograph of the panel and am confused by what appears to be the sequence:
{R}{G}{B} (and then white or orange {X})
so
{R}{G}{B}{X}{R}{G}{B}{X}?
On the back of this LG tv it states manufactured in Poland in November 2020. So it is very new.
My go-to source on this is generally: Panel Technologies - TN Film, VA, IPS - TFTCentral
but I cannot see my photographed sequence in the above article.
Any thoughts?
In case it might have helped I tried to get into the service menu on this new LG WebOS televisions, but without success. I have the feeling the only way is through a special remote or IR blaster for phone. I have tried all the suggestions online such as pressing the settings button or home button for 7 seconds and then entering code or the phone apps, but nothing worked.
