I have recently bought the LG 42PX3RVA and I am experiencing some problems while watching SKY TV. The screen seems to be nudgeing from right to left constantly. When a banner apears on the bottom of the screen (e.g Sky Sports) it is constantly nudgeing. Can anyone give me any advice please?

Does that happen when you watch sky only or in other inputs eg. component,etc....?
Anyway check your sky box-is it set to RGB out? I hope you are using the right cables and scart is connected to AV1 (as this one is the only with RGB).

sounds like teh screen save feature you have on panasonics that they call 'wobble' intended to stop image retention. Does teh LG have screen save features you can turn off?

Nope-there is a orbiter option, but this moves the image only by 2 pixels every 2 minutes. My guess is bad selected signal input-e.g. your setup box is outputting svideo and you watch in AV1 etc....

Stainway, your advice was spot on! I went into the sky system settings and changed to RGB from PAL and activated the scart and the nudgeing has stopped. I will enjoy watching the TV now.

    Thanks Very Much!!!

PS. I hope other peolpe can benifit from this advice if they have the same problem.

You are most welcome-just to be sure I hope you are using AV1 on the plasma!

You have just cut the quality of the input signal by 75%. PAL setting is composite video, likely you will never get decent picture quality with this. I think Stainway is also trying to point out you may be using the wrong scart socket. RTFM for RGB compatible scart input, and make sure you are using the scart on sky marked TV, enable RG at both ends, does it not have to be enabled at the plasma, Stainway? If you turn it on in the plasma menu it might stop the problem?
