I have been given an lg42pc1d today by a friend who has bought a new tv because this one has stopped working.
The problem with it is it has power but only sound and no picture,because I like tinkering ive opened it up and have narrowed the fault down a bit and I am a bit stumped at the moment to what part I need to change.
The Tv turns on fine and if I stick the DVD in the scart I get sound perfectly but no pics..
If I disconnect the lead on the board that connects the Y-sustain board from the power supply board it still does the same, sound but no picture.
Can anyone help me? Does this mean-
1.The Y-sustain board has packed in and I need to change this.
2.The power supply board is not sending enough power out to run the y-sustain board?
