Lg 42Lb5500 board replacement

Hi. My LG 42LB5500 went blank the other day. The logo comes up for a split second and then nothing.

That led me to believe that it was the main board as the logo appeared backlit.

I ordered one on eBay. An eax65361503 board. But when I took my tv apart to replace it, the board I had was an eax65361505. They look identical. Does anyone know if they are interchangeable?

I swapped it out anyway, and nothing. Not even the split second logo.

so I guess my questions are, should I try buying another main board with exactly the same number, or should I buy a power board. Or should I just go and buy a new tv!?!

TIA.

Of course you could potentially made it worse doing the board swap , I can’t say if the different boards made a difference though .....

Thought that, but took the chance and swapped it back afterwards to check. Same flash of logo and that’s it.

Boards need to match I believe, and also the panel type serial
Cross reference the model, board, and panels serials
