LG 42" Smart (42LB670V-ZA) Loosing the stored channels

I have an issue with my LG smart tv (42LB670V-ZA, webOS 1.4.0-2532 afro-ashley) and none of the hard-reset methods I tried has worked for me so far.
The problem is that the TV is losing the stored channels every time I turn the TV off and on again. Then I have to run the scanning process again and then it is the same when the TV is turned off. The TV does not store any settings at all as if there is only some kind of permanent memory or there are no writing privileges to the memory. Any setting is lost upon restart.
Any ideas or any tv-model-specific hard reset procedure that anyone has tried?
Kind regards,
Antonis

Hello and thanks for taking the time to respond. I couldn't find this option in the menu. Plus it looks like the device itself is not able to store settings. It remains stuck to the settings it has. For example, if I try to turn DLNA on I can't save my selection and it remains turned off.

No such menu option I am afraid...
When I click on Program running I can only choose between auto/manual tuning, program mode (antenna, cable etc) but no option as this that you describe. Any tricks that may force a hard reset?

Hello again,
Checked various regions didn't do the trick. It has to be something else. The TV is completely incapable of storing user settings. For example I stored the channels in an external USB drive so that I can restore them faster instead of scanning every time. The thing is that the TV requires a restart upon loading channels list from an external drive. Of course upon the restart none of those settings are stored so the TV is again blank and asks for retuning and rescanning for TV channels.

Maybe it's set to hotel mode?

Turned the auto update off and all ok today, we'll see if it lasts.
So why should my 30 month old tv suddenly do this now?

Got 2 LG's in the house and am ready to out them anyway because of the stupid EPG.
