LG 32LC2D or Samsung LE32R87BDX

    Hi all

    I am looking for advice.

    Does anyone have these tv's.

    Is are they any good for

    A. Playing games on

    and

    B. Watching HD channels and normal channels


    I really know nothing about tv's and i can't really find alot of info about what it broadcast in regards to 720p or 1080i etc.

    Any help would be great

    One LG 32LC2D owner here. :hiya:

    IMO it's a great tv, especially considering it's price. 360's games look fantastic on it, SD channels look ok (SD content on a HDTV rarely looks good). I can't comment on HD channels because i don't have a HD receiver :( but i'm sure it looks great.

    Oh and it can display in 480i/p, 720p and 1080i. no 1080p but that's nothing new when it comes to tv's of this pricerange.

    All in all, an excellent tv.

    Yep I have the LG but with the silver speaker (32LC2DB). As said above the 360 looks quality on it and I don't regret getting it at all. I have mine connected via VGA and I don't get any washed out colours like some people report on some sets, just crystal clear, vibrant colours.

    I don't have a HD receiver yet but I've got the HD-DVD add on and films look stunning on it.

    It handles motion really well and I've never noticed any lag or smear happen on the TV and for the price it's a really good buy.
