    Hi all,

Anyone have the new fancy LG television? I noticed it has an input for a PC.

Can someone confirm what the picture is like for PC use? Is it as good as a monitor/laptop display?

Im looking to replace my TV and Monitor to save space and this is the ideal opportunity....

    Cheers,

    Paul.

Yes, I have one. It's the newer model - forget the number but it does NOT have a glass screen in front of the LCD panel - the older one did.

It is a great little TV, but the sound from the internal speakers is very thin. TV picture is excellent. The only thing it is missing is a 16x9 mode, but I wouldn't rate this as important at this size.

As a PC monitor, it is indistinguishable from my Sharp 15" LCD monitor, ie excellent, and it works in Win95 using the standard plug&play monitor driver.

FWIW I reckong the trade price for this item is about £540 inc VAT. You might want to use this figure when you try to haggle for a deal.

No probs. I guess it will handle them ok. I don't play them much either though, so it shouldn't be a problem anyway....

    Cheers!

    Paul.
