Does anyone know of any ex-dems or places that have deals at the moment.
how about an mc12 for £5.5k?
The Lexicon Kit does not come up very often S/H or Ex Dem so you will be very lucky if you do find something like the MC8 or MC12, i have seen alot of the very old stuff but not the new ones!
Thanks for the tips, going to ring Prestige.
Keep em coming.
Prestige have sold the MC12.
Audio T have an MC8 but wont split from LX5
I've Just aquired Lexicon MC8 from Midland Audio X change, they've got ex Demo MC12B for £5899 if thats within your budget....You can call John Roberts on 01568731100 or his mobile 07721605966
Spoke to Midland earlier in the week, the MC12 is a very early version, so needs $$$$ to bring it up to current spec. AT least they rang me back several times, unlike lots of other dealers who never bothered.
Are you only interested in ex-dem or possibly second hand?
I have a colleague who has been made redundant and is selling up all of his AV gear to move back to his parents in the States, if your interested.
Let me know the details.
AT the moment I'm more tempted by the MC12B and possibly waiting a few months to see what Lexicon do, but let me know.
I always wonder if you're Jimmythesaint because your friends call you that. Of course if it isnt you've no idea what I'm rambling about.
It's just a nickname I use for my internet personna, based on a movie character If you know some dodgy gangsters with that name, it ain't me!!
Unit is an MC12B upgraded to version 4.
How about saving some money and getting a better processor at the same time?
Had Meridian in the past 565/568 and just got steamed at how they dropped the 565 and then upgrades to 568 were silly money.
No idea what the G68 does but I'll look around.
G68 is a nice piece of kit, don't rule it out.
I went from a 568.2 to an MC8 cause I needed/wanted the video switching and the wonderful set up menu on the Lexicon, but would love to have a go with the G68ADV and see what it is like against the Lex.
