Hi all, I built a really great theater about 15 years ago, using the Lexicon MC1 as the centerpiece. I used a Sunfire amp, and Martin Logan for front, rear and center. It sounds great and has been a wonderful system. Unfortuantely, the MC1 has died, and I'm wondering where to go from here, because I've been away from the home theater world for a number of years (too busy with work, etc.).

I'm interested in adding a BluRay player, a new display (I had a large rear-projection TV before), and either repairing the MC1 or replacing it with something compatible.

Again, given my removal from the theater market/marketing for numerous years, I haven't kept up with BluRay improvements, etc. so don't know what is the hot set up nowadays.

    Should I:

    - repair the MC1 (that is my preference - its cheap, system stays the same, no futzing to get things working again, etc.) and add a BluRay player + new display?

    - Move to a new processor (maybe necessary to exploit BluRay features?)?

    Any other suggestions? Thanks...
