Looking at pulling the trigger on a new pair of Nord amps so will have these up for sale in due course.

First up is my fantastic Nord One UP NC500DM 3CH in Black
I paid near as damn it £2,500 (£2,464.80) Options were:
Sonic Imagery 994 Op Amps
12V Trigger Option
Speaker Hook Up wire upgraded to Neotech UP-OCCCu

It is only a little over 12 months old, so wouldn't want to take too big a hit on it, and they are currently still the same price that i paid for mine. This really is a stunningly good amp and has never missed a beat.

Looking at £1,600 SOLD to @GlennC

Second up is my Lexicon LX-7 7 Channels @ 200W per channel, which i have had for a number of years now, again this is a very good amp with bridgeable channels 1 - 4 giving over 400W per channel at 8 Ohm.

Now for the bad bits, in all fairness it probably could do with a service (Karma AV) as there is a bit of a hum at times and the Led's for channels 1 & 4 aren't working. I can confirm that channel 4 is working as i did a new DIRAC calibration yesterday and i am using channels 4 - 7 for my surround speakers, i am not using 1 - 3 as my L/C/R are running off the Nord, but will confirm that channel 1 is working............ good news, i can confirm that channel 1 is working :)

Taking into consideration that it probably needs a service i am looking at £750 for this, which i feel is still a good price for 7 x 200W+ of quality amplification.

Update

As the Nord is now sold i have just hooked up all channels of the LX-7 and can definitely confirm that all 7 channels are fully functioning and the levels appear the same across all channels

So apart from the LED's for channels 1&4 not working and an occasional hum at times, which is easily fixed by moving the XLR/RCA sliders and as i am only using XLR connections i can't confirm if this is still the case when using RCA's to connect.

Due to the nature of the equipment, i would prefer collection and demonstration to satisfy any prospective buyers. I will also consider delivery if it can be arranged and it helps any prospective buyers.

Any questions, please feel free to ask.

Price and currency: £750
Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
Payment method: BT or Cash
Location: Blandford Forum, Dorset, England
Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I prefer the goods to be collected

Fantastic i would imagine, if i wasn't going for the MK11 i really wouldn't be thinking about changing it. I was thinking about getting this for a long time, read all the reviews i could find, and couldn't find any bad ones at all.
Having had a quick look at your profile, i can see that you are local ..........if you fancy a demo let me know as it's no hardship for me to bring it to you so that you can demo it in your setup.

Thanks for your offer, but i'm not really interested in offers at the moment as in my opinion it's already a bargain at the asking price, and these just don't come up for sale ...... for a reason, they are that good!

Payment received for the Nord and being collected this evening ..... happy but sad at the same time as won't get my replacement for over a week.

Will edit the thread title once it's collected and feedback exchanged.

This is still a really good and highly regarded amp, has bridgeable architecture using channels 1 - 4 which gives a genuine 400W @ 8 Ohms and even more if running 4/6 Ohm speakers. This is rated down to 2 Ohm's which is extremely rare. It has 2 internal fans, which run very quietly and enable the height to be very small @ less than 6" also as a result, it doesn't get hot at all.

New amps arriving shortly, would like this gone!

Quality highly regarded multi channel amplifier for not a lot of money.

An excerpt from a review here: There's no doubt that $5,995 is on the more-expensive side for a multichannel amplifier, but you have to pay for the best—and this is clearly one of the best seven-channel amps I've ever come across. It's got seemingly limitless power, balanced inputs, bridgeable architecture, and a sound that is tough to find fault with.

Specifications
Power output: 400 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo), 200W (7 channel)

Frequency response: 10Hz to 100kHz

Damping factor: 250

Gain: 29 dB

Input sensitivity: 1V

Signal to noise ratio: 109dB

Speaker load impedance: 2Ω (minimum)

Dimensions: 440 x 144 x 483mm

Weight: 25.4kg

Good evening @fatboy frank, hope it goes well?

You said before - if I recall correctly - that this is better than the IOTA AVXP1? I have a good deal on an AVXP1 but I am interested in your Lexicon now. I think my setup with my Yamaha A3080 would gain a lot from a good power amp and is long overdue. I just do not know anything about these and need to read up on this, but if you can shed some light please, that would be great. As for funds, I have a little left over from my AVR550 sale but would need to scrape together a bit more.

Cheers,

fallinlight

Ah damn, I remember reading this before, hence leaving it.. : / Any sort of hum or noise for me will be a nightmare, I have the ears of a bat.

Don't know if the hum is still going to be there as since i've taken it out of my system i have given all the XLR/RCA sliders a good clean with this stuff: https://caig.com/fader-f-series/

Also i was using it with the XLR connections, have no idea if the hum was even present when using the RCA connectors.
To be honest, when i thought one of the channels was not working, i had considered sending it off to: Karma AV | The UK's top supplier of audio-visual products who are the authorised repair centre, for a service and any repairs it needed. As i confirmed all channels were working, i didn't look into it again.

A couple of reviews here: Lexicon LX-7 Multi-channel Power Amplifier - AVRev.com
and here: Lexicon LX-7 Seven-Channel Amplifier

See my last 2 posts :)

Obviously i am a little biased, but it is a damn fine amplifier with the option to use XLR or RCA connections, it gives a genuine 200w + per channel (all channels driven) @ 8 Ohm
It has fully balanced and bridgeable topology, allowing you to bridge the first 4 channels into 2 channels giving over 400w per channel @ 8 Ohms (ideal for stereo) this leaves you 3 channels of quality amplification left.
