My thoughts on this would be to purchase a Toshiba from Richer sounds, for around £100.

Yes you may be able to get cheaper, but not that much, and at least the Toshiba's are from a good pedigree.

    try www.richersounds.co.uk

Why not look for a second hand mint condition multi region Pioneer DV626D for £95. :D

These players are excellent and cost over £400 a couple of years ago. This would be a great 'second' player for the bedroom.

Come to think of it, I might get rid of mine :p

I would look at the Limit 9900SE sold by Richer Sounds for 200 pounds. It gives a really good interlaced picture that is really detailed and stable and colourful. This is my main player now hooked upto a projector and I have tried a few players

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Does anyone have any ideas what the Acoustics Solutions DVD321 is like? It's only £60.00 @ Richer Sounds :)

Neighbours have got one, looked OK on a quick run through Monsters Inc.

Disclaimer: I was a bit drunk at the time though :)
