HI all great work on your website.

I wanted to tell you that I have had problems with my Lethal weapon 1,2,3 directors cut disk`s

I have had the disks 1 year or more can not remember, I played them when I bout them no problems at all until now. I started to play lethal weapon 3 and it started to glitch up so I took the disk out and noticed it had corroded all over the disk top and bottom it was tacky to the touch and totally wrecked.

I them looked at the rest 1 and 2 and they where the same like water marks all over and strange like scratch circles marks I have checked all my collection of DVDs and there's no problem with them not even lethal weapon 4, Lethal weapon 1,2,3 came all out at the same time so I`me wondering if it is a glue problem have you heard of this problem before, can I get incontact with WanerBros about this for replacements, I`me not very happy about this and am thinking what about in 1 years time some
of the others will start to do this

I hope you can or have time to write back to me and let me know what you think. anyone have the same problem one of my m8 has theis problem to

    thank you

    This disc rot is scary.

I have checked my Lethal Weapon 1,2, and 3 and they plays ok (skipping though all the chapters) and can get past the layer change ok.

I also tried Matrix and that is fine.

One thing I find odd is that most discs that have problems are in either snapper or other cardboard cases.

The only disc I have had problems with is the R2 of The Terminator which I just cleaned myself and still plays ok.

Is there a website which lists all the problem discs? I have nearly 300 odd and it will take me ages to check all of them.

If I had a problem with any disk, the first thing I would do is write to the distributor and request that they exchange my disk free of charge. I suggest you do the same. I can't see them saying no if you're sending your original back to them (but I guess you never know). Worth a shot anyway :)

problem comes when uv imported the discs, somehow i don't think the distributor will want to exchange when they know uv imported rather than buy the UK version which brings me to this point the matrix and lethal weapon 4 are both heavily censored in the UK versions thus i would'nt buy em and anyways lethal weapon 4 was badddddddd good news is lethal weapon 2 which was originally censored when it first came out is now uncut in the uk on dvd

I've got the Lethal Weapon Dirs. Cut boxset (DD/DTS)

I've had several discs with DVD rot, but they look indentical to brand new, unaffected discs.

Just checked the three, they look ok.

Can you send me a photo of your worst- looking DVD rotted disc?

    Thanks
    Nathan

I can't really tell, but are the discs cloudy?

I forgot to say what region are they?

Are they are region 2 and made by Technicolor?

The Technicolor plant has a bad reputation on some DVD's (it was The Terminator and SOTL that started it off).

Try cleaning the disc with some soap and warm water and then dry the disc. I managed to sort out my Terminator disc that way.
