ok im trying to get planning permission on an extension and so far things could be going better.

@ present the room the pj will go in is 14ft 6ins long and im not sure if a long or short throw lense would be best.

im interested in the domino 20, 30 pjs and the marantz 12s3.
the later 2 have short throw lenses.
idearly i want to stick the pj at the rear of the room on the cealing
and wang the image across the room.

(the new room will be about 6ft longer but placement can change then, as this will be a dedicated pj room)

so what is the best throw to use in this situation. screensize isnt realy important as long as its big:D

No i havent plannd to go to event 2 which is probaly a mistake and i dont realy trust price japan because of the warranty issues.

yeah ive seen the throw charts but the size room kinda fits both short+long throws.

just wondering if its better to use long throw at minamal settings or short throw on higher(expanded) setting

u can see i havent realy got this projector lark sorted yet.
