    Hi

Has anyone bought an H30a and used the 'lens shift' function? I can't seem to find any details about it on the web. Can anyone explain if/how it works?

I'm struggling with the vertical offset problem posed by an SP4805 and am looking for something I can mount somewhere within 150 miles of the ceiling.

    Cheers

From what I've read so far, it's only useful when viewing cinemascope films (2.35:1 aspect ratio) - it allows you to shift the image to either the top or the bottom of the 16:9 frame that the projector projects - handy if you have some sort of masking system I expect.
