is written on my nikon l10 can anybody help me plz as it dosnt fuction cheers
Seems like this is a common problem with these cameras. The lens is stuck where it slides in and out of the body to zoom. You can try cleaning it with a cotton bud and IPA, but if that doesn't work it is likely cheaper to just buy a new one.
yeah thats the one mate cheers so would you recomend staying away from coolpix or is it just the l10 that has this problem, dont know anything about camara this is my first dig camara not had it long but dont have reciept to take it back cheers
India Pale Ale? Seems like a waste of beer to me .
Actually, a lot of the P&S cameras that have sliding zoom lenses get this problem, not only Nikon. I have personally seen a Canon Powershot with this problem (it gives "E18" errors, which also means lens stuck) It seems to be an inherent problem wiyh this type of design.
Sigh No, IsoPropyl Alchohol. But you knew that.
I knew there would be alcohol there somewhere
cheers for that so could you point me to a pocket sized camara that i could put a sd card in (for holliday snaps ect) thats not to costly cheers for any help
