Looking around and these seem a decent price with good specs. They have two models

- i5-3210m, 8GB ram, 750GB HDD + 64GB SSD, 2GB gtx660m, 1366x768 15" screen, DVD writer - £849
- i7-3610qm, 8 GB RAM, 1TB HDD + 64GB SSD,n2GB GTX 660m, 1920x1080 15" screen, bluray reader & DVD writer - £999

Anyone got one or looking at? The lower spec can be bought from John Lewis, the higher spec I've only seen direct from lenovo and on dabs and ebuyer - both of which seem to show it as a i7-3612qm and DVD writer (no mention of bluray) but I'd check before buying

Closest I've seen on spec would be customising a clevo from pcspecialist.co.uk and pricing seems similar

660M is decent, I would go with a Clevo though you can tweak them how you want and wouldn't touch the i5 version, £850 for a dual core is too much

Are clevos well built and reliable? I see them mentioned a lot in gaming laptop threads but other than that I've never heard of them.

They're used by dozens of companies and sold under dozens of brands. I don't know about their cheaper ones but the ones at that sort of price tend to get good reviews, e.g. here.
