A friend and myself are a little annoyed at the moment because we have both gone out and purchased Lego Star Wars II to play over Xbox Live on the 360, however, despite showing the "Xbox Live" logo on the box there is no support for multiple players online...WTF?

I/we already have the game on PS2 & PC, so there was little point in buying it for the 360. Very misleading IMHO.

You can download a playable demo via Live, but there are NO Live options that require the game disc itself, not that I'm aware of anyway.

Am sure you can still take it back, explain your situation and get a refund. I agree it's misleading - but always check the back of the box, it doesn't say online multiplayer anywhere to be fair. And read reviews first too...!

You should've checked the box better to be honest. If you look on the full game details on the bottom of the back of the box it clearly states no online multiplayer.

Yea I know, I was like a big kid... just rushed out and got it. The ironic thing is I had plenty of time to read the box whilst waiting 40 minutes to pay for it in Game on Wednesday. :suicide:

No matter, is a great fun game anyway.

It's disappointing but clearly states no online multiplayer on the box.

Maybe Lego Star Wars 3 will have it or the upcoming Lego Batman.

Am i being completely stupid here ? I have the game, and looking on the back of the box I can't see anywhere where it states "No online multiplayer". Granted it only states "content download", but the assumption by lots of people wold be this is multiplayer....it does say Xbox Live on the front ! Bit of a con if you ask me..

Games that have online support will say "Online Multiplayer 2-24" or whatever amount of players they support. In this case the Live on the front cover just refers to the content download option.

Did I miss something? Since when did Xbox Live mean multiplayer? The game supports Xbox Live, for the reasons listed on the back of the box, mainly content download. Superman Returns has no content download or any Xbox Live support and Xbox Live is not listed on the front of the box.
