    Hiya

My son got two of these for his birthday recently, but one arrived late courtesy of some courier firm brain-fart, with seriously smashed up packaging!

This set retails for £69.99 on John Lewis and Smyths Toys

I've opened the box to check the contents and transferred to the box that hasn't been through a mangle! Even this box isn't cosmetically perfect, but it's more than good enough to be given as a present, if required. It just isn't sealed with the original tamper-proof seals.

£45 collected, or will ship at buyers cost via MyHermes, or courier firm of your choice, with adequate insurance cover.

    Price and currency: £45
Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
Payment method: cash on collection or bank transfer/PAYM
    Location: Crawley, West Sussex
    Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I have no preference

I'd offer £20, probably a bit low for your liking but it would be for my son who would love it... but doesn't need it! Also don't mind in if the box is the more mangled one :)

£35 posted. I'm not fussed about the box if you want to sent it in something else?

I'll take £35 plus postage at cost by whatever means you're comfortable with. Losing the box and sending in a padded bag should make 2nd class post or Hermes pretty cheap.

If you could let me know the cost of postage I would take this for £35 plus postage. I dont need to box as its for the kids so the cheapest method is fine.

    Thanks

    Hi both

Sorry, I didn't receive any notifications of your recent replies.

My my mind Kez was first to make a firm offer, and dombards was conditional on the cost of postage being determined.

I'm happy to allow mods to adjudicate if the above upsets either interested party? Or if one of you is no longer interested please post to confirm.

    Regards

    Adrian

I think I was first to accept £35 plus postage. Kes offer was £35 posted. I nearly asked you to confirm the postage costs. He had 2 days to accept your counter offer and only did so after I had said I would have it.

It’s entirely up to you as to who you wish to sell to as the first offer of asking no longer secures. My advice in cases like this is use your own judgement based on who offered first.

    Regards.

@dombards - in that case shell we move to PM, since kez hasn't replied and on reflection you did offer to pay postage on top of the £35 first?

I'm out this pm and won't be able to post till early part of next week once I've acquired a padded bag and checked postage cost

I’ve not replied as I’m halfway through an 80 mile bike ride, and not receiving notifications for some reason.

Obviously, I’d still take it, but happy with whoever you decide to sell to.

    Cheers
