Hello, finally got two installs done at home, have strip LEDS around the rear of both screens, can be remotely turned on but how on earth can I set it up so that they come on with the tv. Is there some socket that can get plugged in between the outlet and tv that knows when the tv comes off of standby and then turn on the LEDS?

I don't want to keep reaching for the remote!

Any ideas shall be pondered greatly

I would be interested in this too.

And any ideas on making them cat proof greatly received (first set of LEDs lasted 5 days before being eaten).

There are extension leads out there that will remotely switch on everything plugged into it when set up, I have mine so when power up the amp,
    Amp comes on
    LEDs come on
    Tv comes on
    Sub comes on
    Got mine off eBay search
Standby saver 6 way mains extension £25.01
    Hope this helps......
