    HNY everyone.

I have decided to leave Sky.
I have a Sky+ box connected to an old TV via scart.
I have a magic eye going from the Sky+ box to a TV in the bedroom (Hard wired)
I am looking at the Humax HDR-1100S
Will this connect to my old TV either via scart or the Red, White and Yellow connectors.
Also will I be able to run the magic eye as I do with the Sky+
Will this box allow me to tape one programme while watching another?

    Thank you so much. x

You ideally need a box with two sets of analogue outputs. One to feed your TV the other to feed the required modulator to feed the other TV and the magic eye. The HDR-1100S only has the required composite output on RCA phono sockets. It would be a lot easier if the TV by the box had HDMI in.

For the remote TV and magic eye you need a triax-tri-link modulator.

If you can find the older HDR-1000S or HDR-1010S they have scart and RCA phono outputs.

    eg

    Humax HDR-1000S (500GB) DVR 8809095666205 | eBay

All of them offer dual recording and some 3rd channel viewing while recording two with the 3rd channel viewed depending on what you are recording.

Many, many thanks for such a detailed reply.

May I ask, as I will have the Sky+ box, when I leave it will basically turn into a freesat box itself and nothing will change. Magic eye remains fitted etc. The only thing that will change is the ability to record as Sky told me I have to pay for that. With that in mind is there a recorder I can plug into the Sky which will allow me to record 1 channel while watching the other?

No - without some form of subscription the Sky box will only allow use of one tuner so with an external recorder of any sort it will only allow one channel to either be recorded or viewed.
