i not sure if o2 are strict on line you go with but you best ringing o2 to see if they will allow you to have broadband on utv

just looked at T&Cs on both o2 and utv, and both say a bt line required, which i do think we have, but just noticed this on o2 need to supply (c) a clear and operational landline number (except if provided by Talk Talk, Bulldog, Kingston Communications or the landline is a cable landline);

well you will need to get your provider the notice u finishing and give mac to o2 but i think you might not be able to give it them till you get your number for your line as it be different i think once you switch lines

yea dats what im worried about i cant really afford to get cut off, but i think my next plan of action would be to contact o2 and utv to see what they say, and then hopefully get the pleasure of trying to talk to pipex to cancel (wish me luck).

well i dont think you should get cut off it should be a straight swap even though you get a new number i think or you might get to keep same number but can always ask o2 if they let you keep a utv number and ask utv if you can use o2 broadband lol but i think utv might say no as they do broadband aswell

i think you keep the same number, i think it changes if you move to a cable provider, surely o2 would accomadate that, as people are prob using all different phone providers nt just bT, all thats required to switch is a bt line, hopefully its not as compicated as im making it ot out to be, i no utv supply broadband, but they sell different packages for just phone, and then 4 phone and Broadband, so if o2 are happy, then all utv need to know is that i alredy have broadband so hopfully wont try to ram their packages down me throat
