A worrying trend over here at least. 3 Leafs have been stolen in Ireland in the past month. On one occasion the key was fished through a letter box, but on the other 2 thefts the car was taken without the key. Seemingly a signal booster was used to trick the car into thinking that the key was inside, and it was then driven away. Most thought that Nissan's GPS system would be able to help but it hasn't been able to assist in any of the 3 thefts. Given that there are only about 2000 EVs on the road in Ireland, 3 in such a short time would suggest that there is a demand for these cars, presumably due to the value of the parts. Haven't heard of it being an issue in the UK?
