I'm soon to take delivery of a DV79 & a AV300, which I intend to connect to a Sky HD box & a Plasma TV. As this is a system upgrade the speaker cables are fine I also have a coaxical cable running between my current amp & dvd
so ok there " I hope".
I've also got a descent HDMI lead to run between the TV & DVD, will use the Sky supplied one for the HD for a while .
Also I believe I will need an optical cable between the amp & HD box.
    Is there anything I've missed?

For playing CDs I would recommend connecting the analogue outputs on the player to the AVR300. If you want to play DVD-Audio also you will need 3 pairs of analogue cables, if you plan on only playing CDs then you will just need one pair.

You may also want to have to hand a basic phono to phono cable for getting the onscreen menu from the AVR300 on the TV whilst setting it up. You can remove this cable afterwards.
