Hi peeps.
Strange issue with a Samsung LE40A557. Once, twice or three time in an evening the picture and sound will blank for a couple of seconds.
The set will come back to life without any intervention, displaying the same input source/channel as before.
As the set comes back to life, the screen will display the relevant input identifier (DTV, AV, HDMI, etc), If it's DTV, the channel number, station ident and the mono/stereo status are displayed.
Happens with all input sources: DTV, AV, HDMI, etc. The set appears to act as if it has just switched back to the relevant input.
Anyone else had experience of this kind of thing?
Any ideas as to what is failing?
