I'm just about getting my bedroom ready for the xbox360 :arty: and the first thing i need is a HDTV. However i also have a PC and was advised to get a LCD HDTV because i can watch TV, play the 360 or use it for my PC; is this true? (i'm a newbie, i have no clue about LCD TV or HDTV)

I'm thinking of getting the LE32R41BD; what do you guys think? What's bad about it? Whats good about it?

Please help, i really don't want to waste my £700

    Thanks

I'm getting mine on Saturday (the R51 though, same thing more or less). This set seems to be the best bang for buck by a long margin these days so you'll be just fine!
Just as long as u use the proper connections.

Yeah I've been looking for a 32" LCD for a while and this Samsung seems to be the best for the money.

There's a post here about tearing and i'm not sure how the tv copes with normal to bad digital signal, but apart from that it's all good.

Works really well with the new Xbox and i'm pretty sure you can link everything to it. PC, xbox, sky... (lots of connections)

Best price i've seen is £840.

You seen it cheeper Mo Fo?

Where have you seen it for £840? Does that include delivery? Where's the cheapest place that has it in stock now, please include price with delivery and vat. Also want the freeview version.

    Cheers

    Website's http://www.waratah.co.uk.

Got the digital one there for £840 including VAT and Delivery.

I'd phone 'em first though and check if they've got stock.
Failing that just go to kelkoo or similar and search for the tv there.

You can use it as a PC monitor ( I am typing this doing just that) although the resolution is a little small( only 768 lines). You can even watch sky or play xbox (over component) at the same time while using the PC input using Picture in picture(you get no sound from the other source, not a problem for me as I use an amp)

Overall am very happy with it although not being able to adjust the backlight for the PC input is annoying.
