Just to let you know that Le-mans (with Steve Mcqueen) is out on the 29th april(region 1), although mine shipped today from Play :)

Its widescreen anamorphic, and has had a 5.1 mix done, not that I expect much.

But all the people I mention this film to, they dont know what I`m talking about, maybe it because I`m in my EARLY thirties, that I watched it so many times with my dad, but I remember it being an awesome film, with some great camera work.

Anyone else want to back me up on how gr8 this film is, or am I the oldest, and saddest one on here :suicide:

I think Grand Prix is a better film.

    Although Le Mans is OK.

i love this film. Not McQueens best by far but a great insight into Le Mans. My dad also got McQueens autograph as he was over there when they made this. Mine too has shipped. Cant wait.

    I`m NOT alone then! hehe

I just remember all the slow motion filming, and slow, to fast bits, they were very good at the time ( for me anyway).

P.S. Nathan, I dont remember seeing grand prix m8, probably have though, got a link to anything about it m8??

Just watched this, and I have to admit, it wasn`t as mind blowing as I remember, mind you, I watched it without moving for 1hour, 45 minutes, so that must say something for it.

Rose tinted glasses springs to mind :p

Cars looked fine to me aswell.

This could have really done with a commentary from someone, but there ya` go, lots of other films could too.
