    Hi there,

I am currenclty renovating my living room, as this will involve plastering the room I am considering burying speaker cables for a future A/V system purchase.
I am a complete novice in this area and would would welcome your advice/suggestions as to where to site speakers.
The room measures 13ft by 12 ft.

I plan to use 79 strand speaker cable that will terminate to speaker connection plates sited approx 1 foot from the floor.

My fav seating place is next to the fire, I understand this may not be the best place and am willing to swap this for a 3 seater which will provide some flexibility.

    All advice/suggestions greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance

    Naz

I would be tempted to look at RPG or Cara software, where you can model and experiment with your room.
