    But I just bought a PW6BX

Spent weeks viewing and trawling but I feel I prefer the PQ of Plasma (PW6 in particular) over the current LCD offerings, besides the PW6 came in at under 1300 squid and it's a big plot for that money :D

So sorry about the handle guys

Anyway maybe you old hands can straighten me out on a few things :lease:

What res does the JS RGB -> VGA convertor output at ?

Has anyone tried this box out (at 100 squid) ? http://www.cypltd.co.uk/presenter1.html

What sync's are able to be processed via the standard VGA input of the PW6 ?

    Why would I need a scaler ?

    tia

    I feel all ignored :clown:

Has anyone tried this unit http://www.cypltd.co.uk/presenter1.html

It seems to offer much more functionality than the JS box, eg.

    High quality video scaler.
    Supports SCART RGB/Composite input.
Supports PC output resolution up to XGA(1024 x 768).
50/60 Hz frame rate conversion ensures glitch-free display of PAL source on any monitors.
    3D motion adaptive de-interlacing ensures jaggy-free picture.
    Adaptive non-linear noise reduction.
    Adaptive scan rate conversion.
    Luminance/Color Transient improvement.
OSD Controls: Brightness, Contrast, Tint, Color and Sharpness adjustment.
