I was thinking about buying the Samsung LE40M87BDX today but was concerned about the warranty. If I purchase it from www.robertwhyteltd.co.uk, it will cost an extra £180 but will include a 4 year warranty cover from Axa insurance.
What do I do, I tend to keep Tv's for years? Also not sure if the cover would cover everything such as call outs and etc. With cover such as this, if the TV failed after the OEM warrenty run out, would you arrange for a company to repair the TV and then claim back from the insurance firm or do you contact the insurance firm who will arrange an onsite engineer?
Anyone had LCD failures after the 1st year.
From IT Experence some LCD TFT monitors screens seem to die after 2 years.
Regards.
