I am looking at mounting my 26" Widescreen LCD to my Bedroom wall which is made of Wood Stud Platerboard walls. So the holes on the bracket that goes ont he wall must be within the 2" margain. I have seen some LCD bracket that would suite me need but they are saying for lcd up to 24" max weigh 15kg. I know I have a 26" tv but according to the booklet it weigh 12KG so do you reckon those bracket be ok since they say it only suite up to 24" even though it could take the weigh of my LCD?

    Help please

If you're within the weight you should be fine. A lot of these guidelines that specify a max screen size are often related to the VESA size generally used for that size of screen (75mm, 100mm, 200mm etc.). If you're within the weight and the bracket fits you should be fine in your circumstances, I would have thought. It'll be more important to make sure you have the right fixings into your stud wall for the bracket itself. Brackets that hold the screen flat are the easiest. Cantilevers etc. that will hold the screen out and allow you to swivel it will put more strain on the fixings. Beware of badly engineered cheap brackets too. They can be a false economy.

Sorry, just read instructions again, the bracket is for screens from 12" to 23" .

I think it was purchased from B&Q however the avf web site is

    www.avf.co.uk

You may find something suitable there.

Check out the Vogel efw 6225 from avrabbit.com
I have purchased mine from waratah.co.uk as purchased at same time as screen
This is not the cheapest , but the mount to the wall part is vertical so may fit your situation. Check before ordering ref vesa mount to screen but it should be
fine. its also tilt and turn.
I can't tell you more as not arrived yet.
