I know you guys may have heard all before.

Like most things there are leading brands in everything.
In LCD Tvs. whats the best manufacturers out there or is there where i can look this info up.

One more thing -

do i go 1280 x 720 or 1366 x 768 or 1920 x 1080

I am looking mainly to watch Sky HD and some gaming. May even connect up the PC

1366x768 or 1280x720 are both more or less the same supporting 720p video.

1920x1080 is 1080i or 1080p (Full HD). 1080i has pretty much the same amount of data as a 720p.

If you can afford the 1080p screen, its probably better - more pixels is usually better.

But going with reports - some people dont see much difference going from 720p to 1080. Others report an increase in PQ. I'd say it varies from person to person depending on how picky you are about things.

I am sure someone will be along shortly trumpeting the glories of 1080p over 720p shortly followed by someone who didnt notice any difference.
