Have been thinking of getting LCD tv, HD ready of course but because of certain restrictions (my wife wants silver with little or no black surround) I am looking at Toshiba - 27WLT56 or 32WLT58 on one side and Sony KDLVS26A12U or KDLVS32A10.

All are reasonably priced at John Lewis, who I have heard are very good should you have problems.

Has anyone any comments on the most suitable unit plus using JL as supplier.

    Waiting feedback in due course.

    Thanks

I have owned the 27wl56 and i now have a 32wlt58. Both Great tv's with the 32" less susceptable to motion blur.

I i were you i'd look at a 32wl56 as they are very silver and are cheaper, no freeview built in though.

cant comment on JL, never used them.

If your concerned about reliability then, you could always insure your tv with Domestic and General, who seemed quite helpful on the few times i've had to speak to them.

Thanks for your input but on reflection we think the 32" may be too big for our room. Is the 27WLT56 such an inferior unit, and how noticable is the motion blur you refer to.
